In brief: Xavier Dolan didn't have enough script to fill up the full hour and a half so he shot a lot of the scenes in slow-motion to make them last a bit longer. Boring characters who are full of themselves. Like his earlier movie, this one is tedious to sit through -- although it does have a satisfying ending.
