Ramblings: 
Pretentious and melodramatic soap opera. Does a disservice to the people who took part in the Stonewall riots and the GLBTQ community. Not recommended viewing for anyone. This is what happens when a director (& possibly writer) who's used to doing films like "Independence Day" tries to do a story that is much more nuanced. He says it's a "personal" film -- but he misspoke -- it's nothing personal at all. Tie up all the loose ends and make all the characters stereotypes.
